The beautiful ancient town Hoi An is again flooded

Heavy rains in a row caused the ancient town of Hoi An, Quang Nam, to flood many roads. People and small businesses living along the roads have to put their belongings up high to avoid flooding. This is the second time in the last month that the famous touristic city has to suffer from heavy flooding.

Heavy rains continuously fell on Quang Nam for 2 days from October 9 to 10, causing many localities to be deeply inundated with flood water. In Hoi An city, the water of Hoai River rose rapidly, causing many roads in the old town to be flooded such as Le Loi, Bach Dang...

A group of tourists from Korea were excited when they first witnessed the flood scene in Hoi An ancient town. "This is the second time we have come to Hoi An, but it is the first time we have seen the whole house and roads flooded. We find it strange and interesting," said the female tourist.
