I just got back from the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, an island to the south of Vietnam with beautiful beaches, exploring trekking routes and wonderful seafood! What's interesting is that I carried my reusables everywhere I went to test how easy it is to BYO while on holiday!
My reusable bottle proved its perfect function right at the airport where I could freely take drinkable water without paying 20k to buy the expensive bottled water! I also carried my. mum's food with me to eat while waiting! What a bargain!
During my trip in Phu Quoc, I took them everywhere, while trekking, sunbathing on the beach or simply going to restaurant. They are perfect for takeaway food, taking fruit out or simply getting water wherever you want.
I also dined a lot at Winston's Burgers & Beers, where no plastic straw is used and the owner fully supported ditching the plastic movement!
So I think I have PROVED it! Bringing reusables while travelling is easy, effective and cost-saving! The thought at first might be the inconvenience of bringing things we cannot ditch immediately after using, actually, please RETHINK and TAKE YOUR REUSABLES with you!
